Ascires Grupo Biomédico, which from this edition is a Health sponsor of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, supports the volunteers of the race to reinforce the safety of the event, organising training courses in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. Thus, on World Heart Day, which was commemorated on 29 September, professionals from the biomedical group gave one of these training sessions at the headquarters of the Municipal Sports Foundation to a group that will form part of the volunteers on Sunday 3 October.

The session focused, above all, on the theoretical and practical aspects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid. The director of the race himself, Álex Aparicio, was present at the event and took the opportunity to thank both the volunteers, who this year will be made up of more than 300 people, and the Ascires Group and the Sports Volunteering Office of the Valencia City Council for their involvement and support in making sure that the 10K goes off in the best possible way.
