Valencia (14-06-21) - The 10K Valencia Ibercaja opens registrations for its 2021 edition, which will be held next Sunday, October 3rd in Valencia Ciudad del Running, with its usual fast and homologated 10,000m circuit.
Specifically, bib numbers will be available from Wednesday 23 June at 10:00 am on the official race website www.10kvalencia.com. Runners will be able to register in two different sections. On 23 June, a total of 3,000 race bibs will be available for runners at a price of 15 euros, and when they run out (from registration number 3,001 onwards) they will cost 18 euros.
The organisation has set a limit of 7,000 bibs (6,000 on sale to the general public + 1,000 for the runners of the virtual edition with a reserved place) and will decide whether or not to increase this number depending on the health situation at the time closest to the race, so that the safety of all participants is always paramount.
All registrations include, in addition to the race bib + chip and all the basic services of the race, an official commemorative T-shirt (not including the €3 RFEA Day Licence fee). Also, the different registration sections will have the possibility of making a solidarity contribution of 3€, 5€ or 10€, which the Organization will donate in full on behalf of all participants to the Asindown Valencia Foundation.
The start time for the race on 3 October is still to be determined and will be decided according to current health regulations and the number of heats to be run. As always, these waves will be organised according to the accredited or expected time runners set during the registration process.
Deadline and preferential price for virtual edition runners
Before the opening of the general registration period, scheduled for 23 June, the 10K Valencia Ibercaja offers the 1,000 runners who participated in the last virtual edition a "Promo Fidelidad".
These participants have the option of registering during a preferential period and at a special price. Thus, for seven days, from 15 to 21 June, they will be able to purchase their bib number for a price of 12 euros, from which the 5 euros they paid to reserve their place will be subtracted. So, at the end of their registration, they will only have to pay 7 euros. This promotion also includes the official race T-shirt and does not include the 3 euros of the obligatory Day Licence of the RFEA.
