Valencia, 12-14-22.- One month before the celebration of the10K Valencia Ibercaja, the race has already surpassed the 10,000 registered for its 15th edition on Sunday, January 15, which will once again inaugurate the running year in Valencia.
For its part, the 5K Valencia Vamos, the parallel event that this year is held for the first time just before the 10K with a circuit approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA), also reaches a round figure exceeding 1000 registered runners. These figures promise a real party on the Paseo de la Alameda in the city of running.
The bibs for both races will remain available until January 8 or until the limit established for this edition is reached, which is 12,000 for the 10K and 1,500 for the 5K.
Registrations for both races, the 10K and the 5K, include a commemorative T-shirt for each of them with the seal of Mizuno, the official sports brand of the races, along with the race bib and the runner's bag. In addition, it is worth remembering that during the registration process, runners can choose to donate 3, 5 or 10 euros extra to this year's charity, Runners for Ethiopia.
The 10Kids Valencia opens registration
To round off the festive morning of January 15, the 10K Valencia Ibercaja is once again organizing its traditional children's races. The 10Kids Valencia will start from 11:45 am, after the celebration of the 10K.
The races will have an official vehicle, stopwatch and starting and finishing arches identical to the main event. Starts will be carried out in order of categories, from youngest to oldest. Thus, it will start with the "Chupetín" category for children in arms, stroller or hand in hand with an adult (300m), and will be followed by the race for children from 3 to 5 years (400m), from 6 to 8 years (600m), from 9 to 10 (800m) and from 11 to 13 (1,000), to finish with the oldest, the runners from 14 to 16 years, which will make a circuit of 1,500m.
Registration is now open on the website of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja at a price of 1 euro per race bib, which will go entirely to the charity of this edition, Runners for Ethiopia.
