1.- Where can I register?
On the test website (www.10kvalencia.com) or at www.sportmaniacs.com
. Online registration will be available from Saturday 13th July at 10:00h until Tuesday 7th January at 23:59h.
2.- What are the registration options and how much do they cost?
PREMIUM REGISTRATION WITH New Balance T-SHIRT (maximum 10,000 bibs):
– From the 13th July (10:00h) to the 9th December (23:59h): €11 (RFEA 3€ day license not included)
– From the 10th December to the 31st December (23:59h): €15 (RFEA €3 day license not included)
LOW COST REGISTRATION WITHOUT T-SHIRT:
– From the 13th July (10:00h) to the 9th December (23:59h): €6 (RFEA €3 day license not included).
– From the 10th December to the 31st December (23:59h): €9 (RFEA €3 day license not included).
LATE REGISTRATION → From the 1st January 2020 to the 7th January 2020 (23:59h)
– PREMIUM REGISTRATION WITH New Balance T-SHIRT (if available): €20 (day license RFEA €3 not included)
– LOW COST REGISTRATION WITHOUT T-SHIRT: €12 (day license RFEA €3 not included)
3.- When does the race take place?
El 10K Valencia Ibercaja will take place on Sunday 12th of January 2020.
4.- Where does the race start?
The start line is on the Paseo de la Alameda, Where Puente de la Exposición is (the Calatrava Bridge). The finish line will be the same place.
5.- Which is the selected charity of this edition?
The Fundación Pedro Cavadas (Pedro Cavadas Foundation). You can help them by contributing the extra 3€ at the time of registration. Find out more about it on their website: http://www.clinicacavadas.es
6.- Will my bib be customised?
Yes, as long as you have filled in that field at the time of registration, and as long as you have done so before the 31st December at 12:00 noon.
7.- Is my t-shirt size guaranteed?
As long as you have purchased the Premium Membership and while there is stock left of the size you need. You will have a size counter in sight at the time of registration, which will allow you to see at all times the sizes that remain available.
8.- Where can I pick up my bib?
The runner’s bibs, t-shirts and bags will be delivered at the FERIA DEL CORREDOR (Runner’s Fair), which is held on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th January, with uninterrupted opening hours from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We will notify you in advance of the exact location.
9.- Will I be able to pick up someone else’s bib?
Yes, presenting a photocopy of his/her DNI or another similar document or proof of registration. An image of it on your Smartphone or Tablet will be valid.
10.- Will I be able to change the registration details?
The registration fee is non-refundable, but the organisation will provide a data exchange service at the Runner’s Fair (Solutions/Inscriptions stand). The change of data of the inscription in the Fair will have a cost of €3. A change in the name of the club on the inscription in this same Fair will cost of €1. In case you want a change in the assigned box, you will have to document your timing on a homologated distance.
11.- How can I register to participate in the media category?
What about the minimalist category?
Once you have picked up your bib you have to go to the Solutions/Inscriptions stand at the Runner’s Fair and sign up for the media classification. For the minimalist category we have enabled a tab so that you can do it directly at the time of registration.
12.- Will I be able to pick up my bib on the day of the race?
Yes, from 7:45 to 8:30 AM in the starting area, next to the Cloakroom. Intended for runners who come from outside Valencia + metropolitan area and can document it or any other force majeure. In these cases, only the bib (not the runner’s bag) and t-shirt (in case of Premium Registration) will be delivered. As from 8:30 AM this service will be closed and therefore it will be impossible to pick up the remaining ones.
13.- How can I register for the Mile, Junior Mile or 10Kids?
You will be able to do so, in due time, through our website under “Entries”. The Mile costs €3 and children’s activities €1 for charity. You can pick up your bibs at the Feria del Corredor (Runner’s Fair) or on the same Sunday at the starting area, next to the Carrefour Igloo, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. We will inform you of its exact location.
14.- Can I volunteer?
Yes, of course. We need you. You can register through a simple form on our website and experience the race from a different perspective. As soon as we complete the form, we will inform you and you will be able to be part of the family and live the race from the inside.
15.- Will there be a Breakfast Run?
That’s right. On Saturday 11th January. We will inform you of the details in due course.
16.- Is the route validated?
Yes, extensively so. The new route, flatter and faster, will consists of 10,000m, the circuit and distance are approved by the R.F.E.A/AIMS. The race is part of the RFEA Calendar with International category.
17.- Which will be my box at the start line?
The colour of your bib will indicate the assigned box, depending on the expected mark you indicated when you registered. In cases of unexpected time of under 45 minutes, you will have to prove your timing by attaching a link during the registration process
18.- In which wave will I be starting the race?
There will be 5 different exits, 4 minutes apart from one another, the first of them being that of disabled and visually impaired athletes. Depending on which box you are in, you will be in one or the other wave.
19.- How do I get to the start area?
We recommend you using public transport to get to the start area. EMT or Metro Valencia. Lines 3 and 5. The nearest stop is Alameda (a few metres away from the start area).
20.- Will there be Bike Park on the day of the race?
Yes, it will be located next to the Cloakroom and sponsored by Coca-Cola and its action #EventosConBuenAmbiente (events with a good atmosphere). Bring your own lock. The organisation will not be held responsible if you leave bikes unlocked.
21.- Will there be a cloakroom on the day of the race?
Yes, there is a free cloakroom. It is located next to the La Pérgola Kiosk. You can also use this service at Feria del Corredor (Runner’s Fair). You can leave your backpack when you pick up your bib and we will take it to you the day of the race, so on the morning of the race, you will be able to warm up from your hotel or from home and avoid traffic and parking problems.
22.- Are there any refreshments?
Yes, at kilometre 5 and in the post-finish zone. Liquid refreshment will be offered: Water at the half way point and Water, Powerade Zero and Amstel Radler at the post-finish area.
23.- Where will I see the rankings?
On the website of the race (www.10kvalencia.com) or on the Sportmaniacs one (www.sportmaniacs.com
24.- Where will I see photos and videos of the race?
On our website, where we will post links to the photo galleries of the photographers who send them to us. Also on www.corriendovoy.com

25.- Will there be an oficial magazine?
Of course, edited and produced by the Running CV team. You can get it in your runner’s bag.
26.- Will I be able to follow the race live?
Yes, your family and friends will be able to follow it live on the race website www.10kvalencia.com. In addition, the friends of Maratón Radio will also tell you everything live. We will also share the full broadcast on our YouTube channel so you can watch it when you finish the race.
