Valencia, 12-11-2021.- The 10K Valencia Ibercaja 2021, held on 3 October, has raised a total of 3,302 euros for this year's charity, the Asindown Foundation. This collection, which helps the charity to continue with its projects, has been achieved thanks to the runners who opted to add 3, 5 or 10 euros extra and 100% solidarity during the registration process.
The symbolic handover of the cheque with the proceeds took place at the headquarters of Ibercaja in Valencia, the main sponsor of the race. In addition to the young people from Asindown and the director of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, Álex Aparicio; Fernando Arcega, head of Institutional Business and sponsorships at Ibercaja; the Provincial Director of Ibercaja in Valencia, José Gil; José María Santos, Ibercaja's Territorial Business Manager for Arco Mediterráneo; and the Director of the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, Juan Miguel Gómez, were also present at the ceremony.
ASINDOWN is a non-profit organisation created in 1989, whose main objective is to facilitate and promote all necessary means to achieve the integral development of people with Down's Syndrome and favour their full family, educational, labour and social integration as active members of society.
