The 10K VALENCIA IBERCAJA starts up two training groups (150 seats per group) to prepare for the January 12 test.
Registration is closed, but you can join any session you want (without the right to the training shirt).
The meetings will be on Saturdays and will take place in the old course of the river Turia, on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th December and 4th January.
This year there are also training sessions for children between 9 and 16 years old (meeting times and venue as stated earlier). It is not necessary to register beforehand.
Designed for those runners who are not experienced in 10,000 meters, and want to experience the feeling of crossing that line and exceeding that goal and doing it in the best possible conditions. These sessions will be led by athlete Raquel Landín, a graduate in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and trainer of The Kenyan Urban Way. She also has the national title of athletics trainer, awarded by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA).
It will be aimed at athletes who have experience with this distance and who aim to improve their overall performance time and those who want to push themselves physically even harder. This group will be led by Marta Fernandez de Castro, athlete and coach of Team 3FDC, and graduate in Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport. She also has the national title of athletics trainer, awarded by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA).
All those enrolled in the training groups will receive an exclusive commemorative T-shirt as a gift of New Balance, and a training plan to prepare for the race. This plan will be posted weekly on the official website of the event.
