All Team Village details

What is Team Village?

The Team Village is a private space that the Organization of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja offers, since ten editions ago, to the teams or clubs collaborating with the race so that their runners can enjoy it the day of the race and use it as a meeting point and much more.

What does it consist of?

It is a private space where these clubs or teams can set up their tent, banners, tables... The Organization provides (beyond what each one wants to bring and set up) some details such as: a folding table, plastic to put on the floor to avoid dirtying the backpacks, pre-race drink, artisan peanut cookies and some other details that can be obtained as fruit or sweets (depending on the edition).

Where is it located and what hours is it available?

This space is located in the start and finish area of the race, in the area of Paseo de la Alameda, at the height of the Exhibition Bridge. However, depending on the set-ups in this area, the exact location of each edition may vary. The Organization will provide all the details to the collaborating teams that make use of this space well in advance.

The opening hours of the Team Village on Sunday, January 14, 2024 will be from 7:30 a.m. until its scheduled closing time of 12:30 p.m.

When can each team set up its space?

Those responsible for each team will be able to bring and prepare their material on the Saturday prior to the event. Details will be communicated in due time and doubts can be solved with the coordinator of the Team Village of the race, who will be at your disposal from previous days.

Which teams or clubs can use the Team Village?

The teams or clubs collaborating in the race.

And how can a club or team be a partner of the event and have access to the Team Village?

To be a partner of the race and have access to the Team Village, teams or clubs must have registered runners and provide volunteers to help the day of the race. If you are also able and willing to help us in the tasks of the Runner's Fair, great! This is extra 😉

Important: If your club has more than 100 registrants, you will need to provide at least one volunteer on race day. If you have between 50 and 100 registrants, at least 2; and if you have less than 50 registrants, at least 3 volunteers.

What do I need to access the Team Village with my club? Can I access with my club if I am not going to run?

Runners who belong to a club or team that has access to the Team Village, will have this access marked on their race bib so that the entrance control will let them pass. That is, you only have to wear your bib visibly. Please note that when registering you must put the name of your club correctly. EVERYONE must put the same name, spelled exactly the same way. Agree before registering.

Each club or team will have at their disposal 3 wristbands so that 3 people who are not running that day can have access to their space in the Team Village. These 3 people will be able to lend a hand with the assembly, preparing the post-race snacks or even taking care of the backpacks while the others are running. WARNING, you have 3 wristbands and only 3 people who do not run (for capacity reasons) will be able to access exceptionally. We ask you to respect the rules, as the safety of all depends on it.

The coordinator of the Team Village of the race will indicate to the person in charge of each team how to pick up these 3 wristbands at the Runner's Fair.
