C Atletismo 10K VALENCIAis organizing the5th edition of the 5K VALENCIA IBERCAJA race (hereinafter 5K Valencia) with a limit of 2,500 runners. It will take place in the city of Valencia on Sunday, January 10, 2027, on a 100% urban circuit on asphalt, with the start and finish lines on Paseo de la Alameda.
The start time will be at 08:15 hours. Participants will be ordered according to the expected mark throughout the registration process.
The5K Valencia, with a 5-kilometer circuit, is open to anyone who wishes to participate, whether they are federated or not, provided they are 18 years of age on the day of the race (January 10, 2027). Runners accompanied by minors, participants on skates, bicycles, or any type of vehicle are not allowed. Runners accompanied by pets are also not allowed.
The maximum duration of the race for each participant will be 40 minutes from the moment of departure.
All participants will be covered by an accident and liability insurance policy taken out by C Atletismo 10K Valencia. Those arising from latent illness, imprudence, negligence, failure to comply with the law, etc. will be excluded. Also excluded are those caused by travel to and/or from the place where the race takes place.
The registration process will open on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and will close on Sunday, January 3, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. or when the established limit of 2,500 runners is reached.

Registration deadlines and prices*:
* These prices do not include a small administration fee paid directly to the registration platform.
If after the closing of registrations, the established limit has not been reached and consequently there are still bibs available, registrations may be made at the Race Fair at a price* of 16 euros, provided that the organization deems it appropriate. In any case, these registrations will never include the official technical garment or any possible gifts that the organization may provide.
The race bib and the technical garment that the organization may give with the registration can never be collected after the event. They can only be collected within the time limits established in these regulations.
Option to purchase medal.
The Valencia 5K commemorative medal is optional and can be purchased by runners who wish to do so during the registration process, while stocks last. During the registration process, runners will be offered the option of purchasing the commemorative medal for the race, which includes engraving (first name, last name, and real time), at an additional cost of €7 , while supplies last.
In case of surplus of medals at the closing time of registration, the organization reserves the right to put those units on sale at the Race Fair at a price of 10 euros.
The medal will ONLY be awarded on the day of the race after crossing the finish line and ONLY to runners who have purchased it during the registration process. Under no circumstances can it be collected after the race has finished.
The purchase price of the medal will NOT be refunded under any circumstances, unless the runner has purchased the registration cancellation service during the registration process and decides to make use of it (Art. 3).
Solidarity contribution.
The different registration sections will have the possibility of making a SOLIDARITY CONTRIBUTION with a voluntary increase of 3€, 5€ or 10€, amount that the organization will donate in full on behalf of all participants who choose this option to the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Valencia.
During the registration process, you can purchase a cancellation service for €3, regardless of the registration stage of the race. Under no circumstances can this service be purchased once you have completed your registration.
The cancellation service that the organization makes available to participants will refund 100% of the amount paid for registration (except for the cost of insurance and platform management fees) provided that the runner requests it before December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., without having to justify the reason for said request.
Runners who have taken out this insurance and wish to use the service to cancel their registration must request it (always before December 31, 2026) by sending an email to info@10kvalencia.com.
The broker requesting this service must indicate in such mailing:
The refund will be made within a maximum period of 15 days from the time it was requested.
If you have not taken out this insurance, you will NOT be able to ask for a refund of the registration fee under any circumstances. Only in the event that the race has to be postponed or suspended due to force majeure and beyond the organization's control (including health regulations), the organization will offer to all registered participants the possibility of maintaining the registration for the new date or requesting a refund of the registration fee.
All registrants may modifythe editable datain their registrationuntil December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.), at no cost, in the Private Area (regardless of whether registration has closed).
As of December 11, 2026, it will NOT be possible to make any changes to your registration details, not even at the Career Fair.
Likewise, all registrants may access theirPrivateRegistrationArea(within the same time frame and under the same terms) toadd services that they did not initially purchase. The following services may be added:
It is possible to change the name on the bib in the Private Area of the runner's registration. This is the only legal method for making a change or transfer of ownership.
In other words, you can legally transfer your race bib and place in the race to another runner through our platform.
This service will be availableuntil December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.)with a €4 administration fee charged to the new holder.From December 11 onwards, it will NOT be possible to make any changes to the registration details.
Change of title at the Career Fair:
If, as of December 11, the registered participant wishes to transfer their registration to another runner, they must do so at the Race Fair on the days when race numbers are being collected:
It is reiterated that, for legal and sporting reasons, but above all for safety reasons, it will not be possible to transfer the bib to another runner without following the process foreseen for this purpose and without obtaining the agreement of the organization.
The organization requests everyone's cooperation so that no runner participates with another runner's bib without having made the corresponding change of ownership through our registration platform.
Race numbers (and T-shirts) can be collected during the days leading up to the event, at a time and place to be confirmed. The organizers will inform participants of these details well in advance.
Authorizations:
In case of not being able to attend during these three days, the registrant may authorize another person to pick it up on his behalf. To do so, the authorized person will only need to present a copy of his/her ID card or supporting document (driver's license, passport) or, failing that, the proof of registration. The image of any of the above documents can be presented on the cell phone. It is not necessary to present it on paper.
Race bibs will be handed out on the day of the race:
This service will only be available for runners who come from outside Valencia and metropolitan area and can justify it with documentation. The delivery of bibs and the technical garment that the organization may give away with the registration, will take place in the starting area between 07:15 and 08:00 hours. After that time, the race bibs will be closed and therefore it will be impossible to collect them.
Once the race is over, the race bibs will NOT be delivered or sent, neither the technical garment nor the gifts that the organization may give during the Race Fair.
On race day, a free cloakroom will be available from 7:30 a.m. Runners will be informed of its exact location before the race. Remember to pick up your cloakroom sticker, which you can collect with your race number.
There will be a liquid refreshment station in the post-finish area.
The organization plans to award a commemorative trophy for the first 3 finishers, both male and female, in the General Category (total number of participants).
* Trophies will NOT be sent after the event.
Likewise, the following classifications, for which there will be NO commemorative trophy, will be published for information purposes only:
All the ages indicated must be reached on the day of the test.
The organization reserves the right to disqualify any runner who commits any irregularity:
Given the serious damage that this would cause to the organization and the other runners of the race, in case of access to the race in violation of the established conditions of access or any irregularity is committed, the organization reserves the right to take appropriate action, in accordance with the applicable legislation. In this sense, the corresponding civil, criminal or administrative actions will be initiated to demand the responsibility of the offender.
In the event that the infringement becomes known after the event has taken place, appropriate action shall be taken at the time the infringement becomes known.
The medical services and ambulances, coordinated by the 5K Valencia medical team, will be located at the start/finish area and closing the race.
All participants, by the fact of starting the race, accept these Rules and Regulations, and in case of doubt or if any situation arises that is not reflected in the same, the Organizing Committee will be in charge.
Notifications: By registering for this event, all registrants agree to receive communications from the organization regarding the celebration of the event. All communications to the runner will be made through the email address provided by the participant in the registration process. Therefore, once the registration is completed, it is the runner's responsibility to check his/her email to be aware of the notifications of the event.

These communications may be sent by any means, including electronic.
