When and where is the 10K held?

The 17th edition of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 starting at 09:30 am. The start and finish line of the race will be located at the Paseo de la Alameda, at the height of the Puente de la Exposición (popularly known as Puente de la Peineta).

What about the 5K?

The 5K Valencia Vamos will start the same day as the 10K but at 08:15 am. You have all the information here.

Where can I register?

Registrations are available on our website from April 12 (12:00h) to January 5, 2025 (23:59h) or until the maximum number of bibs available, 15,000 in the case of the 10K and 1,500 in the case of the 5K.

What does registration include?

Registrations (within the established deadline) include race bib + chip and an official technical garment with Kiprun seal. Each distance (10K and 5K) will have its own technical garment.

In the case of the 10K, during the registration process, there is the option to purchase or not a commemorative medal of the race with engraving included (name, surname and real time) with an extra cost of 7 euros for those who want.

Can I make a donation to the charity?

Yes, the different registration sections will have the possibility of making a solidarity contribution with a voluntary increase of 3€, 5€ or 10€, amount that the organization will donate in full on behalf of all participants who choose this option to the Association Against Cancer in Valencia.

Will I be able to edit the registration data?

You can edit some of your registration data until December 10, 2024 (23:59h), free of charge, in your "Private Zone". Please check your data(including email and club name) when you register.

After that day, i.e. from December 11, 2024, it will not be possible to make any changes to your registration data, not even at the Race Fair.

Will I be able to change my predicted mark and my starting box?

As a general rule, the runner will NOT be able to change his predicted or accredited time, so neither his time or starting box. However:

.- If the runner wants to start in a later (slower) box than the one assigned to him/her, he/she can do it without any problem.

.- If after registering, the 10K runner improves his/her accredited or predicted time and wants to change it to start in an earlier (faster) box than the one assigned at the beginning, he/she can do it before December 10, 2024 (23:59h) by writing an email to admin@10kvalencia.com. In the case of the 5K, you will be able to do it in your Private Zone directly.

For SUB 36 marks in the 10K, additional information will be requested to accredit this mark. If the runner cannot provide such information or the organization cannot confirm it, the request will not be accepted. In addition, the Organization reserves the right to reject such request in case the census of the starting boxes does not allow more runners.

- From December 11th it will NOT be possible to request any kind of change, even at the Race Fair.

Each participant must respect his or her time and starting box. Otherwise, he/she will be automatically disqualified.

Will I be able to change the size of the technical garment?

The size of the technical garment is NOT guaranteed, although the organization will try that most of the participants have the size requested in the registration process. You can enter your "Private Zone" of registration and edit the size of the technical garment free of charge until December 10, 2024 (23:59h). After December 11, 2024, NO size changes will be allowed, not even at the Race Fair.

Can I ask for a refund of my registration fee if I am unable to run?

Only if you contract, during the registration process, the cancellation insurance offered by the event. You have all the information in the Regulations.

When and where can I pick up my bib?

At the Career Fair, which will take place on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 (time and place to be confirmed).

Can someone else pick up my bib?

Yes, to pick up the bib-chip of another runner it is necessary to present a copy of your ID or supporting document (driver's license, passport) and/or proof of registration. You can present the image of any of the above documents on your cell phone, it is not necessary to present printed documents.

Can I pick up my race bib on the day of the race?

The delivery of dorsal-chip will be facilitated the same day of the race in the starting area, up to 60 min. before the start of the race. It will only be possible for runners who come from outside Valencia and metropolitan area and can justify it with documents. Remember that you can authorize someone to pick up your bib for you at the Race Fair. This option helps us all a lot.

How will outings be organized this year?

This year, the 10K will again have a total of 13 starts (with one box for each start) starting at 9:30 am.

How will I know which exit I am leaving on?

The starting box will be assigned automatically according to the accredited time or the predicted time indicated in the registration process. In case the accredited time (up to SUB 36 minutes) is not correct or the organization cannot confirm it, the runner will be automatically assigned the last start.

You will be able to know the time of your start from the moment you register because, depending on the predicted or accredited time, you will take one start or another. However, your bib number will also indicate the number of the assigned box and the organization will send you an email with your bib number and the start and assigned box a few days before the race. Keep in mind that each box is a start. That is, if you have the drawer 4, your start will be the fourth one.

What time do I have to get in my starting box?

The boxes open at 9:00 am. In the 10K, boxes 1 to 5 close at 9:30 am. The rest of the boxes close at 9:35h. Get in your box with enough time and do not rush.

In the 5K, where there will be a single start at 8:15h, we recommend you to be in the starting area at 8:00h.

How do I get to the exit area?

We recommend using public transport to get to the start area. EMT or Metro Valencia: lines 3 and 5. The nearest stop is Alameda (a few metres from the start area). But you can also come by bike, scooter or warming up from home.

Will there be a checkroom on race day?

Yes, there will be a free checkroom from 07:30 hours. We will inform you of its exact location.

Is there a Women's Tent this year?

Yes, you have all the information here.

Are there showers?

No. We do not have a shower area.

Is there a Team Village for partner clubs and teams?

Yes, of course. We know that this is a space that you love. The organization will contact these collaborating teams to inform them of all the details. You have all the information, here.

Will there be a trophy presentation on race day?

Yes, the awards ceremony will take place around 10:30 a.m. on the stage placed in the finish area starting with the absolute winners, followed by the rest of the categories and additional prizes.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes, in the 10K there will be liquid refreshments at KM 5 and in postmeta by Coca-Cola. In the 5K, in postmeta.

Will I be able to follow the race live?

Yes, your family and friends will be able to follow it live via Streaming on our website, on www.soycorredor.es, on the Facebook profile of the race and on its official YouTube channel. You will also be able to watch it on a recorded version.

Where can I see the photos of the test?

On our website, where we will post the links to the photo galleries of the photographers who send them to us. Running CV magazine will post all the official photos on its website and Facebook profile.

Is there a 10Kids race this year?

Yes, of course. We will inform you soon.

The race organizers ask all participants to take individual responsibility and to comply with all the established rules at all times and to follow the instructions of the volunteer and security team.
