When and where is the 10K held?

The 19th edition of the Valencia Ibercaja 10K by Kiprun will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2027, starting at 9:30 a.m. (with different start times). The start and finish lines for the race will be located on Paseo de la Alameda, between the Puente de la Exposición (popularly known as Puente de la Peineta) and the Puente de las Flores-Alcaldesa Rita Barberá.

When and where is the 5K held?

The 5th edition of the Valencia Ibercaja 5K will start on the same day as the 10K, Sunday, January 10, 2027, but at 8:15 a.m. (single start with three separate starting blocks) from Paseo de la Alameda, between the Puente de la Exposición (popularly known as Puente de la Peineta) and the Puente de las Flores-Alcaldesa Rita Barberá.

The 5K will share the starting arch and finish line with the 10K.

Where and until when can I register?

Registration is available on our website fromTuesday, February 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.until Sunday, January 3, 2027, at 11:59 p.m., or until the maximum quota of 16,000 runners registered for the 10K and 2,500 in the 5K.

What does registration include?

Registration for the 10K and 5K (within the established deadline) includes a race number + chip.

In addition, the organization will give away an official technical T-shirt by Kiprun as a gift. Each distance has its own T-shirt (both long-sleeved).

Does registration for the 10K and 5K include a medal?

Registration does NOT include a medal, but you CAN PURCHASE ONE during the registration process for both the 10K and 5K races.

-. The medal costs €7 (including engraving).
-. Only runners who purchase a medal will be able to collect it after crossing the finish line on race day.
-. Under no circumstances can medals be collected before or after race day.
-. Once purchased, the amount cannot be refunded. It can only be refunded if the runner has contracted the cancellation service during the registration process and makes use of it before the established deadline.
-. Units are limited, so once they are sold out, they can no longer be purchased.

Can I make a donation to the charity?

The different registration stages, both for the 10K and the 5K, offer you the possibility of making a 100% charitable contribution with a voluntary increase of €3, €5, or €10, which the organization will donate in full on behalf of all participants to the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Valencia.

Can I edit my registration data once I have registered?

You can edit some of your registration details until December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.), at no cost, from your Private Area. After December 11, it will NOT be possible to make any changes, even at the Race Fair.

Can I change my target mark and my starting box?

In the case of the 5K, you can edit it until December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.), at no cost, from your Private Area. After December 11, it will NOT be possible to make any changes, not even at the Race Fair.

In the case of the 10K, you will NOT be able to edit it in your Private Area:

.- If the runner wants to start in a later (slower) wave than the one assigned to them, they can do so without any problem.
.- If, after registering, runners improve their accredited or predicted time and want to change this information to start in an earlier (faster) starting block than the one initially assigned to them, they can do so before December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.) by sending an email to info@10kvalencia.com.
.- From December 11, it will NOT be possible to request a change of starting block, even at the Race Fair.

Can I exchange the size of my Kiprun T-shirt?

The size of the technical garment is NOT guaranteed, although the organization will try to ensure that most participants receive the size requested during the registration process. You can log in to your Private Registration Area and edit the size of the technical garment at no cost until December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.). Only those sizes that are available at that time will be offered.

As of December 11, NO size changes will be allowed, not even at the Race Fair, although the organization will set up a space for runners to exchange sizes among themselves if they wish.

Can I purchase the 10K or 5K medal if I did not purchase it when I registered?

Yes, as long as there are still places available. You can do this until December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.) from your Private Area.

Can I make a donation to the charity if I did not do so when I registered?

Can I ask for a refund of my registration fee if I am unable to run?

Yes, but only if you sign up for the cancellation service offered by the organization during the registration process, both for the 10K (€4) and the 5K (€3). You can find all the information in the race rules.

Can I transfer my registration or request a change of name if I am ultimately unable to run and another runner wants to participate in my place?

You can do this until December 10, 2026 (11:59 p.m.) from your Private Area.

When and where can I pick up my 10K or 5K bib?

Race numbers and technical clothing (provided by the organizers) can be collected during the three days prior to the race, Thursday 7, Friday 8, and Saturday 9 January, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., unless circumstances beyond our control prevent this. We will provide more details about the collection point in the near future.

We ask for the cooperation of all runners so that those who can do so come on Thursday to collect their race numbers to avoid the busiest days and times, for the benefit of both runners and the organization.

Authorizations: Can someone else pick up my race number?

Yes. To collect another runner's race number, you only need to present a copy of their ID card or supporting document (driver's license, passport) and/or proof of registration. You can show a photo of any of the above documents on your cell phone; it is not necessary to present printed documents.

Can I pick up my race bib on the day of the race?

Race numbers with chips and technical clothing (but under no circumstances the runner's bag) will be handed out on the day of the race next to the cloakroom tents up to 60 minutes before the start of the race.

After that time, the race number collection area will be closed and it will therefore be impossible to collect any race numbers that have not been collected by that time. Once the race is over, race numbers, technical clothing, and any gifts included in the runner's bag will NOT be delivered or sent.

This will only be possible for runners who come from outside Valencia and the metropolitan area and can provide documentary proof of this.

Remember that you can authorize someone to pick up your race number for you at the Race Fair. This option helps us all a lot.

How will I know which exit I am leaving on?

In both the 10K and 5K races, the starting box is automatically assigned based on the accredited time or the expected time indicated during the registration process.

What time do I have to enter my starting box?

We recommend that you arrive at the departure area early. We will provide more detailed information about this.

How do I get to the exit area?

We recommend using public transportation to get to the starting area. EMT or Metro Valencia: lines 3 and 5. The closest stop is Alameda (just a few meters from the starting area). But you can also come by bike or scooter, or warm up from home.

Will there be an area to leave private bikes and scooters?

Next to the cloakroom tents, there will be an area set aside for bicycles and scooters. You will need your own lock to secure your bike or scooter. The space will be cordoned off but is not covered or monitored.

Is there a checkroom on race day?

Yes, there will be a free cloakroom available from 7:30 a.m. Remember to pick up your cloakroom sticker when you collect your race number.

Are there showers?

No. We do not have a shower area, sorry.

Is there a Team Village for partner clubs and teams?

Yes, of course. We know that this is a space that you love. The organization will contact these collaborating teams to inform them of all the details. You have all the information, here.

Will there be a trophy presentation on race day?

Yes, the awards ceremony will take place at around 10:20 a.m. on the stage located in the finish area.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes, provided by Coca-Cola and Agua de Chóvar. In the 10K race, there will be refreshments at kilometer 5 (water) and after the finish line (water and Aquarius). In the 5K race, there will be refreshments after the finish line (water and Aquarius).

Where can I see the rankings?

We will post them prominently on our website on the day of the event.

Will I be able to follow the race live?

Yes, your family and friends will be able to follow it live via streaming onour website, atwww.soycorredor.es, on the race'sFacebookprofile, and on its officialYouTube channel. You will also be able to watch it later.

This year, we will once again have a live broadcast with commentary in Spanish and another with commentary in English.

Will I be able to acquire photos of my career?

Can I join the 10K volunteer team?
