Valencia, 12-12-2023.- Registration for the January 14, 2024 edition of the 10Kids Valencia Quirónsalud is now open . The children's races of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja will be held from 11:45 am, approximately, in the same start and finish area as the best 10K in Spain and fastest in the world.
10Kids Valencia Quirónsalud race bibs are available at https://10kvalencia.com/10-kids-quironsalud/ until January 11, 2024 (14:00h), at a price of 2 euros, amount to be paid when picking up the bib.
Once the main race is over, the young runners, aged 0 to 16 years old, will take the start to run between 300 and 1500 meters. The start will be in order of categories, from youngest to oldest:
The course, which will start from the same starting arch as the 10K Valencia Ibercaja will be properly signposted and there will be refreshments at the finish line, as well as a medal for all participants who cross the finish line from the hand of Quirónsalud, Healthcare Partner of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, which gives its name to these children's races.
10Kids race bib pick up
The place of collection (and payment) of the bibs will be at the Feria del Corredor of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, where new registrations can also be made at the same price of 2 €.
Also, on Sunday 14th -the day of the race- it will be possible to pick up the bibs at the starting area from 11:00h to 11:30h, as well as to make new registrations at a price of 3€.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training with Quirónsalud
The 10K Valencia Ibercaja will once again have the support of its Healthcare Partner, Quirónsalud, in its 2024 edition. The hospital group, which has already renewed its commitment to the race and which in this edition gives its name for the first time to the 10Kids children's races, will also offer this year training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.
The 60-minute training sessions will be given by professionals from the hospital group and will be aimed at volunteers, runners and members of the organization. The sessions, which will take place next Saturday, December 16, at the Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón Medical Center in Valencia, will show basic measures that are key when dealing with an emergency, as they can save lives.
