To alleviate and prevent, as far as possible, the suffering caused by cancer in people, whatever their personal circumstances. This is the main mission of the Association Against Cancer in Valenciathe solidarity organization behind the 10K Valencia Ibercaja and the 5K Valencia Vamos 2024.
If runners want to help and add up against cancer, they can do it. During the registration process, they will have the possibility to make a SOLIDARITY CONTRIBUTION with a voluntary increase of 3€, 5€ or 10€, amount that the Organization will donate in full on behalf of all participants to the Association Against Cancer in Valencia.
This Association has been a reference in the fight against cancer for more than 60 years. Its tireless work is focused on supporting and helping patients and their families, working for prevention and the promotion of healthy habits and financing research projects to make progress against the disease.
Contra el Cáncer in Valencia is made up of more than 300 people, including workers and volunteers, who are joined by nearly 7,800 collaborators throughout the province and more than 22,000 members.
The Association Against Cancer in Valencia leads a project that we at 10K Valencia Ibercaja are passionate about: RunCáncer Valencia, which runs through the province of Valencia with its 100% solidarity marches and races.
This year, 2023, the circuit celebrates its 9th edition, with more than 100 walks and 12 races between March and December. The proceeds from the sale of race bibs go entirely to fund cancer research projects each year. There are already close to 40 projects underway, in which young researchers continue to fight to make progress against cancer.
