TheValencia Ibercaja 10Kby Kiprunalso had an important charitable aspect thanks to the contributions made by runners during the registration process.
Thus, in this 18th edition, a total of €8,543 has been raised, which has been donated in full to the Spanish Cancer Association in Valencia, the charity partner of the event.
This donation was made possible by the 2,456 runners, both in the 10K and 5K races, who made their charitable contribution during the registration process.
The organization delivered this charitable donation on behalf of the runners to the Spanish Cancer Association in Valencia. Specifically, the check was presented to its president, Tomás Trénor, by Álex Aparicio, director of the Valencia 10K, who were accompanied by the Councilor for Sports and Equality of the Valencia City Council, Rocío Gil, the famous DJ Chimo Bayo, who was responsible for entertaining the 10K start, and representatives of some of the sponsoring brands and some of the most representative Valencian running clubs in the race.
The Spanish Cancer Association in Valencia, which has been the charity partner for the races for three consecutive years, will continue to be so in the next edition in 2027.
This alliance makes it possible for the participants of the best 10K in the world to continue running against cancer, doing their bit to help the Association in its essential work for both people suffering from this disease and their families.
