With less than three months to go until the 10K Valencia Ibercaja 2024, registrations are flying. The first race of the year in Valencia already has more than 8,000 registered runners and is starting its third and final registration price bracket.
Thus, registrations for the race will continue to be available from now on at a price of 18 euros and until the limit of 13,000 bibs is reached for this coming January 14.
The registration process began last April with a promotion aimed exclusively at those registered for the 2023 edition. These runners enjoyed an exclusive period of seven days to get their bibs at an initial price of 12 euros. This price was maintained until 4,000 registrations were reached.
As of April 10, registrations were available to all with these price brackets, depending on the number of registrants at any given time:
Registration will close on Sunday, January 7, 2024 (23:59h) or when the maximum quota for this edition, set at 13,000 runners, is reached.
The stylish Mizuno jersey for 2024
Continuing with the iconic skull that so surprised and liked in the last edition, this year's is a T-shirt. Long sleeved, elegant, black with white screen printing on the front and the entire sleeve with a World's fastest 10K; and of course, with the seal and quality Mizuno, the technical sports brand of the 10K Valencia Ibercaja.
Ultra-lightweight 100% polyester fabric exclusive to Mizuno, for maximum breathability and comfort. With a comfortable cut that adapts to your movements and flat seams to avoid chafing. Different pattern for men/women (as usual in the 10K) and with round neck for both. This technical garment will be given to all those registered for the race with their race bib.
5K Valencia Vamos
Meanwhile, registrations for the 5K Valencia Vamos, which will offer a different technical garment for participants, are still available for a price of 8 euros. When the number of 750 participants is reached, the dorals will cost 12 euros until reaching the limit established for this 2nd edition of 1,500 runners.
The charity: running against cancer
If runners want to help and add up against cancer, they can do it. During the registration process, they will have the possibility to make a solidarity contribution with a voluntary increase of 3€, 5€ or 10€, amount that the Organization will donate in full on behalf of all participants to the Association Against Cancer in Valencia.
This Association has been a reference in the fight against cancer for more than 60 years. Its tireless work is focused on supporting and helping patients and their families, working for prevention and the promotion of healthy habits and financing research projects to make progress against the disease.
In addition, this year, runners who opt for this donation to the charity of the race, will have a surprise from the Organization.
New developments
Last March, the race organization presented the most important novelties of its 2024 edition, the most relevant being that the race will have up to 13 detailed and differentiated starts and will recover the two roads of the Paseo de la Alameda at the start.
The security arrangements for the organization of the starts, including the access to the boxes, as well as the accreditation of the marks that the runners indicate in the registration process are two points that the Organization has reinforced for January 14.
